She was predeceased by: her spouses, Eathridge Dee Pounders and William Cecil Oliver (Pete); her son Micheal Dee Pounders; and her parents, James Wesley and Lizzie Terrell Cochran.

She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Young-Hargett, Tammy Atkins and Marsha Cothrum; and her sisters, Polly Mink and Dolly Cook. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
