We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2022, at the age of 65, Maudie Darby Bedford of Russellville, Alabama, born in Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Elton H Darby; and her sister Vickie Darby Crenshaw. She is survived by: her husband Roger H. Bedford, Jr.; her son Roger H. Bedford, III; her mother Mary Jane Darby; her siblings, Jane Dill (Johnny), Lulu Todd (Richard), E. Hall Darby (Stacy) and E. Herbert Darby, Jr. (Linda); her uncle James A. Hall (Jim); and her close friends, Max and Bruni. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and one great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research or JJ Cares (a fund to help animals) c/o North Alabama Animal Hospital.
