He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Ann Chaney; and his parents, Monroe Russell and Henrietta Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Jean Stehno Chaney; his children, Roy Chaney (Karen), Christy Wiles (David), Michael Heath (Kaye), James Heath (Shelia) and Connie Gist; and his siblings, Franklin Chaney, Mildread Daily, Ruby Cook, Carl Chaney and Jannie Baker. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
