He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lane and Fanny Lane; his brother Jerry Lane; and his grandchildren, Mason Hawkins, Shaylene, Hope, Angel and Faith Lane.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lane; his children, Joey Lane, Timmy Lane (Stephanie), Anthony Lane, Christopher Lane and Tina Lane; and his siblings, Gene Lane of Leroy Lane, R. C, Brenda Lane and Ellen Wright. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
