He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert H. Smith and Mary Odell Smith; his siblings, William "Harold" Smith, Edna Sanders, Ruth Bozeman and Bernice McKinney; and his mother-in-law Frances Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cummings Smith; his son Tim Smith (Debbie); his grandchildren, Hunter Smith (Megan Brockway), Caitlan Swinney (Chase) and Anna Catherine Smith; his father-in-law Vern Cummings; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Smallwood (Rodney). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
