He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Prince and Zelda Prince (Winstead); and his siblings, Mary Lindsey, Elton Prince, Beetta Glasgow, James Prince and Janie Borden.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Prince; his children, Shelia Simpson (Scott), Jerry Prince II and Kimberly McGee (Tim); his grandchildren, Sheena Baker (Randeal), Justin Thompson (Dana), Christian Simpson (Hannah), Kailee Simpson, Phillip Prince (Lindsey) and Cheyenne Cheatham; and his siblings, Minnie Taylor (Woodrow), Kathy Prince and Leon Prince (Deb). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel/ Funeral Home (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653-2625). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
