He was predeceased by: his former wife Mildred Christine Vaden; his parents, William Virgil Hatton and Minnie Bell Zills Hatton; and his siblings, William Jearld Hatton, Reba Pearl Hatton and Lacey Earl Hatton.
He is survived by: his wife Donnia Kay Hill Hatton; his children, Mark Timothy Hatton (Laura) and Kimberly Hatton Whitlock (Tracy); his stepsons, Denny Cox (Wendy), David Cox (Kelli), Daniel Cox (Ashley) and Derrick Cox; his grandchildren, Alie, Sydney, Annesley, Aubree, Sofie and Emma Kay; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Attalise and Freya. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Akins Funeral Home (13455 Hwy 43, Russellville, AL 35654). The lying in state was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (305 Bethlehem Rd, Russellville, AL 35654). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
