It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ayers of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ayers; his parents, Leonard Ayers and Laura Ayers; and his brothers, Raymond Ayers, Nolan Ayers and Gaither Ayers.

He is survived by: his children, Wade Ayers (Treisa), Heath Ayers (Amy) and Darlene King (Ronald); his brother Hillard Ayers; his grandchildren, Jessica K. Nichols (Aaron), Heather Lindblom, Jacob Ayers (Shaela) and Kaylie Hamby (Dalton); and his great grandchildren, Karrah, Kayden Nichols, Levi, Haygen Lindblom and Leighton Hamby.
