He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Bud and Rose Etta Garrison (Newell); his children, Deborah "Debbie" Garrison Dabbs and Harold Garrison; his grandson Chris Vandiver; his wife Freida Bearden Garrison; his son Steven Garrison (Wendy); his grandchildren, Kim Brooks (Curtis), Michael Vandiver, Eric Garrison and Matthew Garrison; his great grandchildren, Emma Brooks, Rylan Brooks and Mila Brooks; and his siblings, Hulon Garrison (Cathye), R. V. Garrison and Shirley Foster (Tommy).
