He is survived by: his wife Willodean Hovater Davis; his children, Denise Davis Arnold (Doug) and Timmy Fite (Miranda); his grandchildren, Madison Fite and Jacob Tanner Fite; and his sisters-in-law, Susie Hovater Malone, Carolyn Hovater and Ann Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
