She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyatt Alsbrooks and Lessie Alsbrooks; her siblings, Reba Woodruff, Joyce Alsbrooks Thornton, Homer Alsbrooks and Grady Alsbrooks; her nephew Rodney Woodruff; and her great-nephew Joseph "Joey" Thornton.

She is survived by: her husband Curtis Grissom; her son Charles Larry Grissom; her nephews, Larry Thornton (Nancy), Johnny Alsbrooks (Roxanne) and Jack Alsbrooks (Glenda); and her niece Nancy Woodruff.
