He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Goines and Jimmi Lou Edwards Goines; and his brother Ray Goines. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Goines; his children, Brandon Larry of Russellville, Melissa Ann of Russellville, Elijah Braxton Goines of Russellville and Abigail Leigh Neal of Russellville; his siblings, Kathy Hall of Russellville and J. W. Goines of Michigan; his grandchildren, Jerrod, Dillon Goines, Lauren Goines Whitely and Taylor Brooke Pounders; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Oliver Goines and Amelia Mae Pounders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic at this time, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
