It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Junior Skidmore of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Marqueta Cook; his parents, Roy Andrew and Annie Skidmore (Wilson); and his siblings, Elbert Skidmore, Jack Skidmore and Nettie Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Smith Skidmore; his son-in-law Stephen Cook; his grandchildren, Catherine Stinson (Trey) and Charles Cook (Anna); his great grandchild Riley Stinson; and his nephew Jason Skidmore (Shannon). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
