With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Wellington Fretwell of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jack Wellington and Charles Fretwell; her parents, Clinton Jackson and Mae Jackson; and her brother Elvis Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, LaShawn Fortuna (Manuel), James Wellington (LaShae) and Kayla Wellington; her grandchildren, Abraham Mojica, Adriana Mojica (Sunil), Marisela Batz, Brody Wellington, Gracie Wellington, Natalie Coronado, Jack Wellington, Abby Coronado and Kloe Coronado; and her great grandchildren, Mateo Jones and Malia Jones. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Russellville Baptist Church (1401 Waterloo Rd, Russellville, AL 35653). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
