He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Copeland, Sr. and Nancy Creekmore Copeland; his brothers, Carl Copeland, Jr. and Kenneth Copeland; his wife Brenda Wilson Copeland; his children, Brian Copeland (Jennifer), Emily Andrews and Jonathan Copeland (Dana); his grandchildren, Trey Copeland (Alaina), Matthew Davidson, Josh Andrews, Ashlee Davidson, Shawn Shackleford, Ella Copeland and Logan Andrews; and his great grandchildren, Noah and Olivia Copeland. He was also cherished by several nieces & nephews.
