He is survived by: his children, Kevin Lawson (Brandy), Traci Montgomery and Yolonda Newell (William); his grandchildren, Devin Lawson (Robin), Drake Lawson (Lindsey), Mason Montgomery (Jerri Beth), Caleb Montgomery (Cecilia), Les Montgomery, Gracie Montgomery, Autumn Montgomery, Joey Newell (Arriet), Lashawna Wilemon (Cody), Aubrey Newell and Bella Newell; and his great grandchildren, Evin Lawson, Maddux Lawson, Raelyn Lawson, Trey Lawson, Liam Stewart, Lilly Lawson, Elly Montgomery and Josie Montgomery.
