She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Mitchell and Helen Stedham; her son Jonathan Sandusky of Jonathan's Steakhouse; her siblings, Odis Mitchell, O'Neal Mitchell and Dessie Thomas; and her husband Steve Sandusky.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Sandusky and Lashea Gilbert (John); her grandchildren, Olivia Duke (Kyle), Brooklyn Gilbert and Logan Gilbert; her siblings, Eva Mansell, Katie Franklin (Hudon) and James Mitchell (Sandy); and her sisters-in-law, Gail Nix (Thomas), Jayne Sandusky and Betty Cribbs.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1405 S Tennessee St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
