It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Laverne Fitts of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Gargis and Joyce Lambert; her brother Boogie Gargis; and her stepfather Jack Lambert. She is survived by: her children, Robert Fitts (Danielle) and Susan Gann (Jeremy); her sisters, Tinnie Matheson (Bill) and Teresa Blocker (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Blake Gann, Dalton Fitts, Madison Fitts and Casey Cummings; and her great grandchildren, Emberlynn Gann, Daxton Gann and Jesse Fitts.
