He was predeceased by: his parents, William Porter Perry and Inez Belue Perry; his wife Grace Goode Perry; his daughter Debbie Perry Newton; his brother Edsel Perry; and his nephew Mark Perry.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Perry Mathieu; his son-in-law John Mathieu; his grandchildren, Casey Newton (Julie), Cole Newton (Kristen), John Mathieu Jr. (Allison), Taylor Mathieu, Perry Newton and Grace Anne Newton; his nieces, Angie Perry Smith and Jill Perry; his great-nephew Cole Smith; his son-in-law Stan Newton (Allison); and his grandchild Catherine Newton Pasuer (David).
