He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Newbern and Frances Newbern; and his sister Lea Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Newbern, Megan Krieger (Chris) and Laura Nolen (Brandon); his grandchildren, Madie, Karlee Krieger, Bailey and Thomas Nolen; his sisters, Sondra Kaminski and Sue Bradford (Kenneth); and his mother-in-law Eilene O'Mara. He is also survived by granddaddy that loved his four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church (16751 US-72, Rogersville, AL 35652). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
