She was predeceased by: her husband Sherrel Comer; and her parents, C. B. Fulgham and Alice Fulgham. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Comer and Randy Comer (Mary); her granddaughters, Lauren Comer (Jonathan Calvano) and Ashley Ambrose (Mitchell); her sister Rosemary; her brother-in-law Charles Reid; her nieces, Alisha Reid, Jill Comer and Sandie Hill; and her nephew Roger Comer.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Civitan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ruth's name to the Rogersville Church of Christ Missions or to Athens Limestone Hospital Foundation.
