He was predeceased by: his father Joe P. Richardson (Cora Gunnell Richardson); his sisters, Mildred Lantz Asplint and Patsy Weaver; and his daughter Tonya Richardson Gattis. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ezell Richardson; his sons, Nelson Richardson Jr. (Jane) and David Richardson (Tara); his son-in-law Jeff Gattis; his grandchildren, Lauren Swaggerty (Drew), Alli Peter (David), Kelsey Richardson, Cory Watson (Jennifer), Jeremy Watson (Jessica), Will Sims, Will Richardson (Jordan) and Nelson Richardson III (Trey); and his great grandchildren, Brenley Watson and Clara Swaggerty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
