She was predeceased by: her husband James T. Steen; her children, Shirley Steen and James Earl Steen; and her parents, Edgar Burks and Mable Burks.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Patsy Steen; her friend Brenda Trousdale; her granddaughter Tina Johnson (Richard); her great grandchildren, Jenna Johnson and Trey Johnson (Kristen); and her sister-in-law Nell Taylor.
