He was predeceased by: his parents, Lunsford D. King and Maxie Bell Mussleman King; and his brother Douglas King. He is survived by: his children, Mike King (Carol), Mark King and Debbie Evans (Cooper); his grandchildren, Tyler King (Sara), Ashley Griffin (Justin), Haley Haigh (James), Taylor Evans and Cooper Evans; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Canaan, Abigail, Piper, Rowan, Alder and Lily.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church (5400 AL-101, Rogersville, AL 35652). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
