He was predeceased by: his parents, Tack Downs and Gladys Downs; and his sister Coretha Ann Downs. He is survived by: his pet Minnow Bucket; his wife Peggy Thornton Downs; his children, Gena Roberson (Brad) and Quent Downs; his grandchildren, Cody Miller (Caylor, Broc), Jessica Stein (Jon) and Christen Downs; and his great grandchildren, Parker Miller, Isaiah Downs, Crissa, Jackson, Bryson, Sammie Wiley, Chesney and Laikyn Stein.
