He is survived by: his parents, Herbert Richards and Cynthia Richards; his wife Phyllis Crowden Richards of Rogersville; his sons, Doug Richards and John Richards of Canada; his stepson Scott Burgert of Florence; his siblings, John Robert Richards (Carol) of Canada, Rene Gutyan (Paul) of Canada and Judy Wheeler (Ross) of Canada; and his grandchildren, Kandis Dietsch Kodi Jackson (Jason), Kendra Richards and Brittany Burgert.
