He is survived by: his children, Carole Newton (Tim), Steve Newbern (Patty), Jim Newbern and Mike Newbern; his grandchildren, Brandi Johnson (Michael), Eric Newbern (Lacie), Matt Newton Kristin Newton (Keri) and Clint Newton; his sister Sherry Newbern Partrick; his nephew Kevin Defibaugh (Rita); and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Zarger, Ruth Ann Fuqua and Virginia Horton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
