She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otis Yates and Audney Luranie Mahan Yates; and her husband Earl Frank Brown. She is survived by: her children, David Brian Miller (Deborah) and Emily Miller Jacobs; her stepsons, Dwayne Brown (Rita), Darrin Brown (Anne Marie) and Ronnie Brown (Donna); her sister Sandra Yates Mitchell; and her niece Jennifer Mitchell Spradley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
