He was predeceased by: his son David Lee McDaniel; and his brother Jack McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Margie Ellen McDaniel of Rockford; his sons, Carlton Wayne McDaniel (Lori) of Rockford and James Paul McDaniel of Rockford; his siblings, Julia Bailey, Janice Waters and Glenn McDaniel; and his sister-in-law Barbara McDaniel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
