He was predeceased by: his sons, Virgil Van Bodle, II, Michael Bodle and Eddie Bodle. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Bowen (Robert) and Sabra Langer (Richard); and his daughter-in-law Michelle Bodle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
