She was predeceased by: her husband Julius Childress; and her parents, Charles Taylor and Margaret Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Steven Childress, Gina Smith and Julie Fincher; and her siblings, Carolyn Gates, Ruth Pittman, Alice Campbell, Charles Taylor Jr. and Jimmy Taylor. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Robertsdale First Baptist Church or Greenwood Cemetery.
