He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Willie Payne and Beulah Elma Payne; and his brothers, Robert Neal Payne and James M. Payne. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his son Brian Payne; his sister Mary Olive Wallace; his daughter-in-law Deborah Andersen Payne; and his granddaughters, Ariel and Leilani Holston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews as several great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alabama State Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36527).
