He is survived by: his children, Debra Petelinski Terrill, Joanne Jackson (Jimmy), Donna Petelinski and Joseph Robert Petelinski, III; and his brother Jerome Petelinski (Shirley). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
