He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Cainie Lassitter and Emma Christine Andersen Lassitter; and his siblings, Hazel Lassitter, Mildred Carliles (Herbert), Luella Bishop (Charlie), Floyd Lassitter (Laura), Walter Lassitter (Charlotte) and Norman Lassitter (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Annette Skipper (Ann); his daughters, Cathy Byrd (Doug), Gwen Windham (Michael) and Debbie Clark (Jim); his grandchildren, Michael Christina Johansson (Donald), Carrie Richerson (Victor), Jonathan Byrd, Kimberly Windham and John Clark (Bailey); his sisters, Eunice Nordberg (Byron), Sandra Bixler (Bernard) and LaDonna Peak; and also, Clarabel Richerson, Tucker Byrd and Cooper Byrd.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, well-wishers make a donation to their favorite charity.
