We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 86, Joan Sterling Sirmon Kral (Robertsdale, Alabama), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth McSheffrey Richard Sirmon and Sterling James Sirmon; and her former husband Donald I. Kral. She is survived by: her nieces, Carol and Lynn Davis (Joan); her siblings, Kenneth Richard Sirmon (Ann Sirmon) and Janice Sirmon Crisco; her children, Carol Kral Mills (Frankie Mills), Lynn Crisco Davis (Mike Davis), Joseph Kral (Betty Dean), Lisa Sirmon Richburg (Will Richburg), Candice Sirmon (Daniel Esses) and Christopher Sirmon (Shelley Sirmon); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Deborah Mills Pippin (Jeff Pippin), Sidney Mills, Logan Richburg (Virginia Frances Richburg), Anna Rebekah Richburg, Hannah Richburg, Benjamin Sirmon, Donella Esses and Ridge Sirmon; and also, Tristan Pippin, Ansleigh Pippin and Nolan Mills.
In lieu of flowers (Joan was never a fan of flowers, she thought they were an unnecessary extravagance) the family asks that her loved ones follow her example of giving back to those in need and make donations to United Service Organization, St. Jude's Children Hospital or Robertsdale Grace Community Church's food pantry or children programs.
