He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving F. Welch and Nannie May Welch; his sister Nancy Greathouse; and his son Brandon Welch. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ward-Welch; his stepsons, Chad Ward and Scott Ward (Stacey Ward); and his son Gerald Welch (Katie Welch). He is also survived by one granddaughter, and 4 nephews, and countless friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Clear Springs Methodist Church (27889 County Rd 112, Robertsdale, AL 36567).
