We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2021, at the age of 87, Ella Ruth Salter of Robertsdale, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Obie Lee Salter; and her son Michael Dean Salter. She is survived by: her sister Viola Rodgers of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister-in-law Floria Ethell Goram of Stapleton, AL; and her children, Ronnie Lee Salter (Zeila), Robert Lewis Salter (Diana), James Clayton Salter (Lisa), David Wesley Salter, Shirley Marie Cantwell (Jack), Rita Jane Steward (Jimmy) and Leah Gaynell Smithart (Aubrey). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.
