He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Myrick Montz; his parents, Merrill Montz and Eula Montz; and his brother Curtis Montz. He is survived by: his children, Chris Montz (Tammy) and Niki Whitaker (Roy); his grandchildren, Hunter Montz (Danielle) and Whit Whitaker; his stepgrandchildren, Lola, Maddie and Nathan (Noel); his great grandchild Clara Montz; and his sister Mildred Montz Capps.
Memorial donations may be made to CARE House, the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center where his daughter serves as the Executive Director or First Baptist of Robertsdale.
