He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sheppard and Bessie Sheppard; his son Kenneth Sheppard; and his siblings, Roy Lee Sheppard, Johnny L. Sheppard, Hollis Sheppard, Frank Sheppard, Josie Morgan, Gerladine Sheppard, Dorothy Ann Wilber and Louise Cosby.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Sheppard (Doug), Meka Sheppard, Rasheda Cox, Tiffany Foster, Chico Sheppard and Mario Foster; and his siblings, James E. Sheppard, Booker T. Sheppard (Diane) and Betty Hunter (Charlie Frank). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
