He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Thompson and Doris Thompson (Allen). He is survived by: his sons, Khalifa Nunn and Belal Thompson; his family, Khalifa Nunn and Belal Thompson of Roanoke; his siblings, Gregory Thompson (Denise) of Carrollton, GA, Rodney Thompson of Roanoke, Brenda Thompson of Roanoke, Allison Joiner (Leon) of Roanoke, Jacklyn Heard (Apostle W. A. Heard) of Roanoke and Alesia Thompson Hughley of Roanoke; his sister-in-law Denise Thompson; his nephew Kevin Thompson of Roanoke; his close friend Alethea Allen; his aunts, Agnes Allen of Roanoke and Christine Allen of Cleveland, OH; his close friends, Adrian Trammell and Ladarius "Red" Williams; and his friend Victor Lamar "Vic" Thompson.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (7485 Co Rd 278, Roanoke, AL 36274).
