With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Glass Whaley of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Whaley; her children, Chastity Smith and Robbie Whaley; and her sister Lynda Ann May. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alissa Elliott (Lane) of Lineville and Drew Smith of Hogansville, GA; her great grandchildren, Tate Elliott, Chet Elliott and Avery Elliott; her sisters, Leisel Caldwell (Lavoy) and Laura Lumpkin (Wade); and her parents, Bill Glass and Ann Awbrey Glass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home (319 College St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Randolph Memory Gardens (64930 AL-22, Roanoke, AL 36274).
