It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel B. Levie of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on October 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leendert Levie and Esther "Oma" Tokkie Levie; and his sister Sara Fahlbush. He is survived by: his wife Sara Levie of Roanoke; his children, Sammy Levie of Spartanburg, SC, Bill Maddox (Kelley) of Fayetteville, GA, Melodie Roberts (Chris) of Inman, SC and Dawn Chandler (David) of Roanoke; and his siblings, Rose Furlow of Etna, OH, Maurice Katoen of Centerville, VA and Barney Levie (Mary) of Vancouver, WA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
