He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Samuel Bailey, Sr. and Rilma Jane Haynes Bailey. He is survived by: his brother Rueben Bailey of Roanoke; his niece Lindsey Bailey of Roanoke; and his great-nephew Brody Bailey of Roanoke.
