He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Eva White Hawkins; his son John Wayne Hawkins; his father Lavelle Hawkins; his siblings, Rev. Mike Hawkins (Susan), Katherine Bullington (Brent), Renee Hawkins Stevens (Stacy) and Jeanine Hawkins (Bobby); and his stepdaughters, Patricia Hester, Amanda White and Valerie Lee. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
