He was predeceased by: his parents, Randle Hodges and Cordie Woodard Hodges; his wife Janice D. Hodges; and his brother Robert Bishop "Pete" Hodges. He is survived by: his children, Kristal Cottle (Cody) of Roanoke and James Hodges of Roanoke; his granddaughter Paige Brown; his great grandchild Daylon Taylor; and his siblings, Carole Holt Powell of Valley, Linda Harrington of Ringgold, Janette Cofield (Michael) of Roanoke and Charles E. Hodges of Roanoke.
Memorials may be floral or the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
