He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Crawford and Evelyn Crawford; his child Cherise; his grandson Jacob Daniel Fowler; and his brother Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jones; his daughter Cheryl; his stepchildren, Lane Yarbrough of Wedowee and Leigh Holloway of Roanoke; and his sister Norma Kistler of Franklin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
