She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cerril and Maxine Gunn Brumbeloe; her daughter Cynthia Elizabeth "Beth" Bassett; and her sister Dianne Benefield. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Crabtree of Roanoke; her granddaughter Leah Paige Bassett; and her son-in-law Johnny Bassett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). The lying in state was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Whites Chapel Methodist Church (689 Co Rd 700, Roanoke, AL 36274). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the White's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
