Though James Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Harvey and Mary Rebecca Spraggins Hand; his wife Maria Elena Hand; his siblings, Shirley Gough, Patricia Bridges and Edward Hand; and his nephew Jeff Gough. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers.
