It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady Doyle Johnson of Roanoke, Alabama, born in Roopville, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Johnson and Ada Maude Quigley Johnson; his siblings, William Johnson, Lousie Ayres, Tavie Nunis, Doug Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Pat Wilkes; and his stepson William Rodney Adamson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Bailey Johnson; his sons, Barry Doyle Johnson (Frances) and Grady Brian Johnson; his stepchildren, Melissa Jane Langley, Dennis Wayne Adamson and Dena Adamson (Dane Richardson); and his brother Garon Johnson (Joyce). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
