He is survived by: his son Earl Steele of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Mary Daum of Jacksonville, FL, Bob Steele of Roanoke and Wiley Steele of Jacksonville, FL; and his close friend Stacy Denham of Roanoke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
